Art Miles : Digital Painting

Joanne Tawfilis says: “This idea started when I was working with orphans in post-conflict Bosnia and Herzegovina. They created a mural on a bullet-riddled sheet. It was there that I decided to initiate, facilitate, and create a ‘mural movement’. The project so far has visually documented the voices of hundreds of thousands of participants from over 125 countries. Because it has no language, religious, or political barriers, it’s a real tool for peace-building.”

Project MURAMID is constantly-growing collection of art that has promoted healing and helped build peace around the world.

Ms. Joanne Tawfilis personally requested this Digital painting herself. This was her personal favorite part of the mural which was painted by a 13 year old boy from the Philippines.
